Why do the dodgers keep getting players? They are long gone from the race. So far the players they have gotten from trades and waivers:
    Ted Lilly-Cubs
    Octavio Dotel-Pirates
    Ryan Theriot-Cubs
    Scott Podsednik-Royals
    Jay Gibbons-O's
    Rod Barajas-Mets

anyone else? I hate the dodgers.

Kind of funny how both Manny and Damon are at the stage where they're going to be put on waivers, and both could end up in Boston again. If I'm Boston, I'd do it. Why not? Your OF is in shambles and Damon is still a solid player. While Manny is just a DH, but he can still be an okay hitter.

Dodgers have made some really stupid, stupid, moves over the past few years. Jason Schmidt was one of the worst busts in recent memory, and everyone knew he was going to be, too. Just like everyone knew Manny would never put up close to what he did in his trade season, when the Dodgers resigned him to that absurd two year deal.

They really outdid themselves this year, though. Making all of these idiotic deadline deals for garbage players, as if it's going to matter. It couldn't of been more evident how washed up as a manager Joe Torre is this year.

I hate Boston. The entire city. And nothing is worse than the Red Sox. So it really made my day when Johnny Damon turned them down.

Another mind-blowing loss for the Cardinals. I still don't understand why Randy Winn didn't go home on the base hit by Pujols. It would have tied the game and I'll take our chances in extra innings or even to continue the rally in the 9th to win. 2 1/2 out in the Central and 1 out in the Wild Card. We need to realize the Reds are for real and start playing baseball up to the level that we can, otherwise we are going to have a very disappointing, early end to the season.

The Braves blew a 10-1 lead to the Rockies, but the Phillies lost against the Astros with Halladay on the mound. Both the Braves and Phillies only seem to win and lose on the same days.

Tigers blew their lead too and lost.
The Reds were heading that way too but maintain to win it in extra innings.
If the Braves game was in Atlanta, no way the Rockies would of come back. No way.
Sad for the Phills to lose it when Halladay is on the mound. Not much run support. Looks like Howard and Utley weren't ready to come back.

I heard about the Schmidt deal and it was crazy. I think he only pitched 1 game during his contract as a dodger. But for a Padres fan, it sounds sweet. LOL.
I think the Manny thing as a dodger went downhill when he was suspended 50 games for Roids related issues. But still, a lot of dodger marks come to San Diego at Petco Park when those retarded dodgers come wearing their Manny shirts/jerseys. That's when you know your just a troll. I wonder if they still will wear it on Sept 7-9 if by the time Manny gets picked up by waivers.
We rarely see Ethier shirts. Now that guy carried the team.
But still. hope to see the dodgers go AWOL for the next 5 years. Its a Padres fan dream come true!

The Cardinals lost again to the Pirates. It blows my mind. Carp goes tonight for the Redbirds against the Nationals

lmao, Nyjer got his fucking ass kicked. Volstad looked badass when he tossed his glove, and Sanchez's clothesline from hell was epic. I give Nyjer props though, he fucking MURDERED their catcher the other night, for a dude as small as him, that was impressive.

    The offense skid continues :-(

Braves need to get on a hot streak and soon. The good news is that Braves have more home games left than road games and the last three in the season are against Phillies at home.
